It is so refreshing to see so many kids (literally, babies) so passionate about environmental activism. They are really taking ownership of the future and what the environment will look like.
However, let’s remember, it is all of our problem. Not just the next generation. Environmental preservation is a current necessity. I just hope this next generation carries this same passion with them to the polls when they are of age and once they are elected officials. Let’s keep this same energy.
Also, lets be the change we wish to see in the world. Attending strikes are a great way to show support. But making small changes and taking small actions within your personal life can be just as affective. Remembering to recycle, opting out of using bottled water, using less plastics, etc are all actions that can be taken to encourage environmental preservation.
