Conscious Eating; Summer Produce

Eating in season is beneficial to you and the environment in many ways. When you choose to eat in season, you get the most organic fruits and vegetables free from the cancer causing chemicals used to keep them fresh when they are not in season. Most fruits and vegetables contain preservtives to keep them ripe when they are out of season. However, when you eat produce that bloom in the current season, you get extremely fresh and organic produce which give you maximum vitamins.
